Synthetic duvets and down quilts
Warmth and softness are two key features of high-quality quilts. We know this at Sweetee’s like no other. That’s why, on behalf of your customer, you can choose between synthetic and down duvets. While synthetic quilts or duvets feel extra soft and can simply be washed or dried in the washing machine, natural quilts or duvets ventilate and isolate better.
Nicely finished duvets and quilts
The padding of our quilts consist of hollow polyester fibres 400g/m² (all seasons) or down and are available in single (140 x 200 cm) or double (220 x 240 cm) sizes. Thanks to the lattice stitching (larger for a winter quilt, smaller for a summer quilt) the padding stays well in place and the edges are attractively finished with a white trim.

Duvets or quilts with ticking in percale cotton
Percale cotton ticking guarantees optimal moisture absorption. We offer top-quality percale cotton with a 220 thread count. The cotton is so tightly woven that it is also used for real down blankets and is feather-proof.
Duvets or quilts with ticking in polyester microfibre
Polyester microfibre ticking is cheaper but is less efficient at moisture regulation than percale cotton ticking.

The insulation capacity determines how warm a quilt is. The higher the padding weight (GSM or gramme per square metre) of a quilt, the warmer it will be. That’s also the reason why quilts for all seasons have a second, thicker-filled quilt to click on.
The ventilating or humidity-regulating capacity depends on the ticking (casing) and the padding. Percale cotton breathes better than microfibre and (high quality) down breathes better than synthetic padding, but that comes at a price.

Metropolitan
“The Metropolitan” is a supremely comfortable synthetic duvet with polyester microfibre ticking. This fabric is both soft and warm, and it breathes better than classic polyester. The duvet features square stitched pockets, which keep the filling in place. The filling consists of 400 g/m⊃2; anti-allergy, helix-shaped, siliconized polyester fibres. The hollow interior of these fibres gives a softer feel and improves moisture dissipation. Prolong your enjoyment of this duvet by regularly fluffing and flipping it.
Villa
“The Villa” is a high-quality duvet with extra-soft percale cotton ticking. Percale guarantees better insulation and ventilation. The duvet features square stitched pockets, which keep the filling in place. The filling consists of 400 + 200 (summer + winter) g/m⊃2; anti-allergy, helix-shaped, siliconized polyester fibres. The hollow interior of these fibres gives a softer feel and improves moisture dissipation. Prolong your enjoyment of this duvet by regularly fluffing and flipping it.
